Hi All

I have the bike above with the standard Rock Shox Monarch Plus 'Autosag' shock. I'm finding the shock very linear, and quick to blow through its travel....Just wondered if it is possible to fit volume reducers to this shock (like you can with the debonair version). I'm sure I read in, ahem, MBUK that they fitted some volume reducers to the one they have on long term test...Cheers for any advice!

I was told by my LBS and Mojo that the bands don't fit because the autosag changed the internals slightly.

I was pricing up getting a new aircan without Autosag installed and then fitting the bands, whilst I was doing that a second hand Ohlins STX22 popped up on eBay so I picked that up instead and the Monarch is now spare.

The shock did run best for me when ran in the medium compression, with a faster rebound return and just over the autosag air. When ran in full compression it was too linear as you say, unless I ran 20% sag but then it was awful over smaller bumps.

Thanks for the advice. How are you finding the STX22? I had thought about getting one, but couldn't find much in the way of real world reviews? Cheers.
