Hi all. Bit of a long shot this one as I'm sure there're not many people looking to change the shock on the old Enduro but here goes. It's been many years since this bike was released so hopefully there's some out there who've tried to change the rear shock with something modern to keep this bike going strong. The shock is a custom made length that Fox did for Specialized 7.625" x 1.875" so there's nothing like that now but you can get either a 190 x 50 or 200 x 50 and flip the linkage to the lower bb height or option three is Mojo will make a custom 7.625" x 1.875 shock to fit using the 2016 Fox DPS standard sleeve that I can bolt on.
Mojo and Specialised have both said I "may" run into clearance issues with the new Fox products. Do you think the new Fox DPS/CTD will fit the frame be it stock size or custom the adjusters all look high. I'm worried the stake height of all the adjusters are higher than 10 years ago. I think it may hit the top of the frame as the stack height is quite a bit higher than the original Fox float RL which was lower down length/hight wise. I can't test a modern 2015/16 shock so if anyone knows whether I might run into problems going to a new pricey shock? I'm just guessing from looking at pictures but I think it will bolt up fine enough but the red rebound adjuster will maybe have 3mm to spare below the roof welding part of the seat mast (if you know what I mean).

Thought I'd ask incase some could point me in the right direction on possible clearance issues with the tight space above the top eyelet there's about 20mm of space to play with.
