Hi,
I am buying a Specialized E-bike tith the Mastermind TCU. Looking to get my heart rate monitored and have an Apple Watch. Will the Specialized app connect with/take heart rate data from the Apple watch or do I need a new heart rate monitor?

I've never tried, but looking at the Specialized app, it definitely says you can pair a heart rate sensor with it.
Your Aple Watch will connect straight to the bike itself, as well as the app. It will take HR from any normal Bluetooth or ANT+ Sensor. Works great. You can configure the display screens to show it too if you want it too.
(Its very configurable/customisable, I'm really impressed)

I'm pretty sure that the Apple Watch doesn't work as a heart rate monitor in these situations as it doesn't use the standard protocol. It certainly doesn't work with a Garmin.
