Sorry, ultra tedious question but I know there are a few folks on here with mudguards on a Diverge.

I'm trying to bodge a set of PDW guards on to my Allez. Being able to mount the rear guard off the seat tube would make for a much neater job.

I see an alloy bracket available for Specialized Diverges for precisely this purpose, but can't find the dimensions.

Does anyone have one who could confirm the clamp/seat tube diameter? Am hoping it's 34.9mm.

Cheers

The bike comes with a plastic bracket which does exactly this....

Pretty sure I've got a spare bracket somewhere - didn't recognise the original one (was looking for a seat stay bridge clamp thing) so ordered a new one from Spesh and when that arrived realisd I'd had the seat tube clamp all along...

Ok thanks Footflaps, that is exactly what I'm looking for. I've also taken the plunge and just ordered one, realised that for £4 I could afford the gamble, not sure if I can bodge 34mm on a 34.9mm seat tube though...

It's included if you're lucky but as Spesh told me some shops throw them out because they think they are reflector mounts and the reflector is already fitted!

Anyway Spesh sent me two free of charge for Mr & Mrs bikes.

I can believe that, I had no idea what it was until they sent me a second one....
