Looking to buy a Specialized Diverge, and I'm wavering between the Smartweld Elite and the Comp Carbon. For light touring the drawback of the carbon is the lack of rear rack attachments on the top of the seat stays. I dare say a seatpost adapter could be used (but would tolerate less weight, presumably?). Anyone had any experience of setting up a rear rack and panniers on a carbon Diverge or could offer any advice as to it's feasibility/desirability?
Thanks
