hi folks, ive started having problems today with my command seat post dropping on its own? there seems to be a mix of opinions about them! does anyone know how to fix it??

I have had the same thing with mine, the little thing that actuates the drop under the seat isn't pulling back to its return position properly and is sitting on the edge of where the seatpost can come up and down (alarming when it rises over jump, makes for a fun landing!)
I think it is due to the cable being hard to pull back. when I clean the cable and lube everything it works again. I'm not sure if that is the only problem though, I'm thinking of asking my local spesh dealer to take a look.
did you try taking the cable out and cleaning the inner?
thanks nosedive! i havent tried anything yet, it started happening at the end of the ride today, i'll have a look tomorrow, i think i know what you mean??!! a little pivot thing under the seat? tried to look on spesh site, it says about reseting plunger? (no idea what to reset it to!) but the diagram isnt to clever, thats the bit under the seat i think, also says about the cable being to tight and backing it off a little, and like youve said, replace/clean/ lube the cable! when i clean it tomorrow i'll try all that!

+1 for clean and lube cable. The bike shop guys told me to keep the cable lubed, I got the impression they'd seen cable related problems before
