If so, what's the fit like? Did you have to go up a size from your normal shoe size?

With most shoes I'm on the cusp of size 41/42 & I've had to go for 42 with these after trying the 41's so I'd say they're fairly good for size. Annoying as size 42 clips are out of stock with the importer & I really wanted them for my holiday to Spain next week 🙁

Still thinking of getting a pair but want to nip into Evans and try the new 5 10 Impacts on first

Have had the black SPD versions for around three weeks now. Managed to get them from a concept store, very impressed with them so far sizing is around normal. Ive always been a 46 in Spesh footwear and these are no different.
The thing I have noticed is the lack of bulk/width compared to 5 10 stuff I have had.
Would recommend.

I've had a pair for 3 weeks now and usually use size 43 Spesh MTB and road shoes but these felt somehaw wrong in size 43 so I went for a 44 which are slightly big for me but this has the advantage that I can wear winter socks with them . My first foray into flats so can't compare them to anything else on the market but I do find that the cuff is quite high causing them to rub the inside of my ankles but hopefully they are becoming broken in slowly .

Waiting for my black pair to arrive. Interestingly, I just bought some S-works XC shoes and had to go up a size from normal.

Also, spoke to a 5:10 dealer over here in the Ewe Ess of Ay last night who said that they were dropping most of the 5:10 flat range in favour of the 2f0. Make of that what you will!

What I want to know, is what are they like compared to your normal footwear, not how do they compare to other cycling shoes. 🙂
Slimwit seems to suggest that he bought his usual size? Is that about right?
I'm getting them on Specialized staff discount at a silly price, but I'm only going to get one shot at it as they aren't a shoe we stock.....

PP, go to a proper bike shop and try them for size, then! 😉

Don't they have loads of breathing vents on the upper where the toes are, letting loads of water in?

Got a client riding with them this week, will ask him about sizing when I see him again tomorrow. They do look good, tempted to try a pair myself.

I wear 43 shoes for leisure , 43 Spesh shoes for cycling but 43 in the 2FOs was too small for me , I would say they are 1/2 a size smaller than regular footwear and Specialized footwear normally is .

Which ties in with my S Works experience. I'd imagine that they've changed suppliers/manufacturers.

The 2015 S Works shoes are way better quality than last year's, imho.

Flashy, i like yer style, get me doing something I really REALLY hate when it's dome to me.....! That said, I might be near the SBC Covent Garden store on Saturday....
It's either that or just order two pairs....etc.... 😉

Feedback from Stu is that he takes the same size in these as he does in his normal trainers so thinks they size up pretty normally.

I nipped into Evans this afternoon and tried 2FOs and Impact Vxis on. I'm a pretty consistent size 12/47 but the 2FOs were slightly too small whereas the size 12 VXis fitted OK (length wise). Annoyingly although understandably they didn't have any 48s in, suspect they might be a bit big, good for winter socks I guess. Other than that and the fact the stealth sole still felt gripper to the touch the 2FOs felt far better, far more form fitting and comfier as a result. I have fairly narrow feet but the 5 10s still shouldn't have made my feet feel like they were flapping around in the cardboard boxes the shoes came in. Bit harsh but that's how they felt in comparison. The 5 10s just felt flimsy compared to the the Specializeds as well. Yes the 5 10s might be better in wet weather but regardless for me there's no contest. My 8 year old Impacts fit much better than the new ones.

Ordered some 48s at the weekend from an LBS, got 10% off, collect them tomorrow, give them a run out at Surrey Hills this weekend, sploink!

48s are a perfect fit so IME they are one size smaller than your usual footwear, every other pair of shoes I own, including shimano spds, are 47s

47s usually actually thankyou.

Didn't earn the nickname "L-plate" for nothing though!

To complete the thread nicely I tried two pairs. I can usually get a 44 (my normal shoe size) cycling shoe on but it's too tight. Couldn't even get a 44 2FO on at all. They're tiny. A 45 just fits. I'm hoping they give a bit......
They feel a bit plasticky out the box too. Again, they should wear in. Good looking shoes though. 🙂

Why ask for peoples opinions on sizing if you are going to try them on before you buy anyway ?

Because this is forum and that's what we do here. Plus, you're not in possession of all the facts. I'll leave it at that....
