Hi
Been having what seems to be creaking from the headset. It has the semi integrated headset and the special adaptor you need to insert into the bottom of the headtube
So I bought new bearings as per cane creek website and fitted these
Sill seems to be creaking coming from that area
1) which direction would you put the split piece on the top of the headtube towards the front or back or side?
2) how is the special adaptor secured inside the frame is it bonded in
I wonder whether this has become loose?
3) driving me up the wall!!!!!
Any thoughts in what to try next. The amount of times I have pulled it apart. Regreased. Torque up and it's fine for like 30m then back it comes again
So frustrating. I even pulled the crank, bottom bracket and frame bearings put and re greased
Any further thoughts on what to try next would be appreciated...
