Grrrr I'm finding this most frustrating, these are great pedals but the right hand side feels a little gritty in the bearing. So i thought I'll strip them down and sort it. And thats where it all goes wrong no one seems to have the special tool to undo the bearings. I spoke to local Specialized dealer and they have never heard of it and cant find it on their B2B website so expensive pedals now resigned to the spare parts draw. The only place i can find the part is the USA but in a full bearing kit so £80+ inc import duty so might as well buy new ones. Can anyone help? do you have the tool i can borrow or buy?

I'm in the same boat, I now have three sets of expensive pedals that need serviced!
Mine came with the bearing kit. I was told I could order it via the local store but didn't need to.

If its not that tight you could use a pin spanner, if its tight then it will probably slip and damage it.
yep used that part number to no avail, as I mentioned only part kit i can find is in USA and lots of dosh
Got my kit from one of the German stores. Its showing in stock below, I would ring them to confirm it comes with the tool as mine did. I couldn't have done them without the tool and a vice, it was that tight.
