EDIT: I have a number of photos of the bike, can someone advise how I attach them here?
Hi, I'm selling my 2003 Specialised Enduro FSR which I've owned from new. It's in great overall condition with a number of upgrades from that time period (mainly Eastern stem, seat post and handlebars, Hope bar ends and spindle, DMR V12 pedals, comfort gel seat) with all the original parts also included. I'm based in Reading, Berkshire.
Everything is in good working order, I'm going to give her a thorough clean, but I was wondering about a pre-sale service? I could get the brake/gear cables replaced and set up, the front and rear shocks are also due a service, or do I ask for less money and leave it as is?
So, firstly, is this the right place to post? Secondly, is there any interest from a buyer? Thirdly, what's the price range? Finally what servicing, if any, should I carry out?
Thanks in advance. James
Yeah not worth much, and not worth servicing at all before you sell it. A 2003 is not old enough to be retro, not light enough to still be relevent for pottering along bridleways and so far off current standards I can't think of a reason someone would want to buy it. It'd be £200ish tops
I think its probably quite a cool old bike but the market for this kind of stuff is terrible.
£200 is likely fair but expect it to sell for less.
Seems a shame but market for second hand bikes is grim now.
I'm in a similar position with a 2006 turner 5 spot. Absolutely lovely bike, great spec and condition. Worth bobbins.
I'm seriously thinking about giving it to one of the bike charities
Suspect you might get more luck by splitting and selling the bits
I had a S-Works Carbon Enduro that I didn't even try and sell around 5 years ago - just took the bits off and used some of them on my PP Shan build. I either gave the frame away or skipped it, can't remember

As others have said, no point spending any money on it as you will not get it back. Might be worth trying on retro bike as plenty over there still like 26" wheels but don't expect to retire on the proceeds as the second hand market is terrible atm.
Find a local bike charity and give it to them, and make yourself feel better.
