I've been running SPDs on the road bike recently and done a few hundred km on them now. When I ride I get quite a bad pain that's sort of behind the top of my calf on the inside side of my leg and partially just behind my knee. I've tried adjusting the cleat positions and it has helped a bit but the pain still happens and it lasts for a few days after, it's not like an ache, it hurts! Only happens with SPDs, no problems with flats.
I know that I should be off to my GP and I likely will go but I imagine that they'll say to rest it and see if it gets any better. I was wondering if anyone on here could possibly give me some ideas about my bike setup that might be causing it?
