I have highish arches and a slightly wider forefoot which makes most standard (skinny) fitting shoes a night tight.

Any recommendations?

Lake or Bont, both wider than the average disco slipper.

Tick.
I'll be looking at Bont and Lake next but I don't have the advantage of a high arch which I believe both of those brands provide. I'd really like something in a natural barefoot style.

Shimanos can be had in regular or wide, not sure if it's all models, check out their www.

But a lot of "wide" shoes are just a bit wider than their narrow normal ones, not actually wide. I've tried Shimano wide, sidi wide and giro HV. All felt like I was having my toes bound like some sort of geisha.

I got taken in by Giro’s HV version. They’re not any wider just a bit more volume. Rubbish.

Lake are definitely wide - check the sizing guide on their site

I've got flippers for feet and the Sidi Mega Dragons have been great.

The Shim widws were not wide enough. Nor Lake bizarrely.

So, based on my experience, and previous threads, there isn't a single brand that suits all widies.

But Sidi Mega Dragons FTW 😉👌

PSA I could only get Shimano MTB wides from German retailers. They're not distributed in the UK it would seem.

I have quite wide feet and find the Pearl Izumi Alp stuff quite good.

I get on with Northwave better than other brands and have wideish feet

It also depends on where your feet are wide. Lake and shimano both have good information on their websites but you have too dig a bit to find it. Also, you need to go to the usual German outlets to get shimamo wide shoes as they are not imported to the uk. Shimano wides worked for me

I have wide forefeet, a very high volume foot (ie tall if that makes sense) but a normal sized heel. Specialized all the way for me.
