what do people do with them?
me and my friends collect them and stick them into a communal parts bin...so if any group member wants something or needs something then thats the first place to look. we could make money selling the stuff off but we realise that somewhere down the line someone within the group will make use of the stuff.
we also use it to welcome new members to our group who may need help in getting themselves started off. so far 3 lads in our group have benefitted from this in receiving donor parts for their bikes.
does anyone else do this or something similar?

we've lent those out too (albeit shorts) and they were returned in a shredded condition after a tumble and faceplant in the BPW carpark! 😆
A mixture of hoarding it in my loft, giving/lending to friends and donating to the local bike recycling project where I also volunteer.
Do occasionally sell bits on purpose if > £50, but generally for smaller value stuff or really bulky bits I don't want to post I'll either find a local recipient or respond to WTD ads on here and other forums.
