I have a friend who is a penniless single mum. She has 3 lads and one if them has been given an old Orange P7.
This bike has old Tech (not tech 3) master cylinders on x2 brakes. The previous owner or bodger has tightened the bar clamps SO tight that they have both snapped across the middle.
So, we need some clamps. With a raft of other jobs like drive train to fix on the boys bikes i am trying to minimise expense. Are there amy other clamps that will fit other than Hope that are cheaper? Im really teying to work on a budget as she doesnt have much money for this stuff but wants to get the boys out riding.
If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

Is it this type of lever or the older mini lever? ( both use the same clamp just one is sliver the other black)
