I have some Spank rims and found with tubes I could run them quite happily below 20psi with tubes. Ive found them to be bloody great in fact. Anyway, I thought Id run them tubeless to see if it made a difference, the rear tyre has a hole in it so Ive ended up with one tubeless and one with a tube, ideal to compare. So far very little difference at all, amazing rims.
Got the 27.5 wheels. Same set up - tube on the back as there's a cut in the tyre I haven't been arsed to replace. They do seem to ding quite easily and the freewheel seems to let lots of mud/water in. Not sure if there's some kind of seal that's missing or defective on mine. Quite stiff too.
