It was a great success and we completed the objectives for the first 3 dig days in a single session. There will be more to follow but most of the hard work has been completed. It is really the shaping and smoothing of the jumps that remains to take it from vaguely rideable to a nice track.

This is what it was like when I decided to take over and make it better.

It is too painful to upload images on this website to do the rest but this should like to a googlephot gallery of todays pictures. Please tell me if it works.

5th picture down in the first column is the same straight as in the hphoto above

Looks like some hard work needed - good work on picking up this project! Is the track surface just going to be compacted mud once it’s worn in / grass gone - or is there another surface under there somewhere - compacted hardcore?

Looks great, but I've never seen a 4x track before that doesn't have a decent downhill gradient, isn't that a BMX track you've got there?
