Ok usually ride in Specialised 74 leather mitts which I love and would love to get my hands on long finger version but seemingly unavailable
They look lovely http://www.specialized.com/us/en/ftr/gloves/equipglovesspecials/74-long-finger
So any suggestions on alternatives?
So far have tried Gyro Ambient leather gloves - not a good fit for me
Don't want to spend Rapha money
Trying to find Endura Urban Gloves but no one has stock even though some websites claim they do
Any suggestions on long finger leather cycling gloves with little bit of padding
Willing to consider other materials but need to be tight, stretchy and thin
Thanks for any suggestions
MC
they look very murdery to me
i'm guessing these are for road work rather than mountain biking as surely they would start to stink and get stiff and uncomfortable with the regular dousing in shite they take on your typical mtb ride?
if so, have a look at some mtb gloves, normally always full finger and lots of thin synthetic and fake leather palm alternatives that are more user and lack of care friendly. my personal favorites are fox rangers, cheap, hard wearing, go through the washing machine fine and you can avoid your normal mtb clown colours - no padding though (plenty of other alternatives with slimline gel pads and the like)
I use two different pairs. Neither perfect but they may point you in another direction.
Acerbis leather super moto gloves. Nice short wrists with several layers of leather on palms. Downside is a small bit of carbon type armour on the knuckles. Mo hassle, just not needed for me.
Browning shooting gloves. Nice leather and a good fit but the cuff is a touch too long for my tastes.
So try motorcycle of shooting gloves.
I am told that track riders use golf gloves. They do look as if they would do very nicely. May be a bit lacking in padding?
dakine concept in all black. my new favorite glove.
I've got the Endura Urban leather gloves and they're cold at this time of year - plenty of venting, I've just started wearing and being glad of the Endura thermal liners. There were some odd sizes on eBay but I can't see any at the moment.
I got a pair of Troy Lee Air full finger mtb gloves which were a similar fit, for when I don't wear my mtb mitts - but it's been so wet I haven't tried them yet!
