On Sunday 7th there will be an event/ride/stuff happening at Southampton Bike Park
A great chance to see all the progress that has been made in the last 12 months since I cut the first turf.
Can't believe how it has progressed. Should be some shovels handy if you fancy helping to finish that last few bits too.

DC Cycles will be there supporting with some great deals on stuff, especially helmets new week.

Southampton Sports Centre. There are the artificial football pitches at the bottom of the hill, The ski slope on one hill and the bike park is on the opposite hill.
All dirt tracks, something for most people from kids on push alongs up to grown ups and jump bikes. Limited space for XC at the moment but is a good meeting place if you are heading up Lordswood. Giuves you something to play on while waiting for yours mates to turn up/faff.
If you know Lordswood think of it as a mix of the Workmans, Eutopia but without the Forestry Commission knocking it down every few months.
Who is coming this Sunday then?
Just wander over, you can always go for a ride up Lordswood if you find it is not your thing.
