Hi,

Looking for someone or company that would be able to do blasting and re-sparaying of my Canfield N9 frame.

Someone that knows what he is doing. Knows that some areas require masking and covering before paint job.

Not fussed if this is going to be powder coating or wet painting.

Just recommended and trusted person/company.

Cheers!
I.

LSN Coatings in Castleford are pretty good http://www.lsn-coatings.co.uk and were very reasonable last time I used them

LSN every time. Worth the trip to Castleford to get it done there, had 3 bikes done now.

Amazing finish that most people swear blind is paint....

Metallic silver powder coat on my 94 Kilauea. £40 for frame forks and 2 quill stems.

Gloss white on a 96 Kona

White is hard for powder coaters to get 100% but the 2 frames LSN have done white for me have been perfect bar 1 tiny defect on 1 frame.

Thanks Chaps!

Castleford is less than 40 miles from my place. Looks like very good call.

Cheers!

Hi,

Need to self-resurrect the thread.

Another project rolling-in but now need someone trustworthy doing glass bead or water blasting on alloy frame as I'm prepping it for anodizing job.

Do not want to do sand blasting and polishing as the result tend to be poor in comparison to amount of work invested.

Cheers!
I.

LSN have a good range of colours and are v v reasonable.

Just watch their masking as my BB was almost wrecked, very shonky. And as it was a FS bike there was overspray of powdercoat everywhere.

Not Two Brothers in Sheffield, as they are a bunch of cretins.

They had two goes at powder coating my hardtail - first attempt had a huge patch missed on the d/tube, second attempt wasn't much better, and they got loads of paint in the threads - despite telling me I didn't need to mask it myself as they'd do it. Not cheap either at £60 🙁

Right...

Probably that wasn't so wise to resurrect the thread instead of posting new one.

Once again.

Scrap original title, read below.

Need glass bead or water blasting for alloy frame.

Want to avoid sand blasting and polishing.

Frame is supposed to be anodized later on. The anodizing guys can't make such a big details as frame blasted.

Cheers!
I.
