For a Stumpjumper. The shock bolt is bent and Specialized quoted me £40 for a new one. Well f*** you too Specialized!
Its an M8 allen bolt but the tricky thing is that the threaded section needs to be a precise length so I am having trouble finding one on the web. Photo is here:

Total shaft length without the head is 37mm of which 15mm is threaded.
Thanks for your help!
Dan
Still not the cheapest way of doing it but the complete rebuild kit isn't bad if you can get the right one#

Full set of bearings and bolts
I'll see if our toolmaker can mod a standard one.
Is it stainless ?
Is the non threaded section a specific dia ?
That hex looks small too.
Dan, what year stumpy?
I'm pretty sure you could just buy a 50mm long M8x1.25 DIN912 cap head screw, & cut it down to 37mm. The threaded section should be 28mm, so lopping 13mm off should leave you with 37mm, of which 15mm is threaded...if that makes any sense...
I'm 95% certain this fits, but I'll need to go through my paperwork tonight for one I got for my Pitch. Any decent hardware store should have one though.
Thanks for the replies..
mikewsmith - unfortunately I don't think it includes bearings so is not of much use apart from the one bolt as I already have all the rest of the bits.
Skyliner - The bike is from 2012.
schnor - they look almost right but the thread will be a bit too long meaning part of the thread will be rubbing in the shock bushing.
takisawa - This looks like the best option. I was not aware of the DIN912 standard but yeah a 50mm cut down is the answer! The bolt looks like stainless to my inexpert eyes although in the schematic
it is listed as alu. If it is alu that could explain why it bent easily. Is the material immportant? I guess it will affect friction in the shock bushing as well as strength.
Just checked, and this is my top bolt and this is my bottom one. Been running a full threaded lower for nearly 2 years and the (still original) bushing is fine. Stupid specialized and their cheddar cheese alloy fixings 😐
