Hi there

trying without luck to source a fork for a Vitus ZX-1 Evo frame.

firstly anyone got one lying around from either a frame that got damaged or from a random trisport listing?

failing that, anyone know who the manufacturer was for vitus so I can attempt to source one direct from Taiwan? Chain reaction are not being exactly helpful and have basically said they won’t be able to supply me one at any cost.

the fork is frame specific as the frame has aero bits that align with the down tube, has integrated hidden cable routing through the tapered steerer so the chance of finding an alternative that works perfect is slim.

thanks in advance for any help or suggestions

I did speak to Carbonda who said it’s not the same bike and they didn’t make the zx-1 evo.

did ask if I could buy just the fork but no reply there 🙁

Having pushed Frasers group (chain reaction) I got an interesting response when I said that they have purchased the vitus brand and the associated ip….

“Frasers Group bought elements of stock and brand names, not all”

Sounds like they’ve gobbled up what was in transit and the coming soon for Nike proof and vitus may well just be what had been committed to already by wiggleCrC. No nearer to sourcing a fork!
