I rode a Soul yesterday, liked it but the rear is quite springy isn't it? Can its effect through the saddle be dampened with psi adjust without a silly psi in the rear tyre or does a (certain) carbon post help?
I imagine the Bfe loses some of that spring but at the detriment of weight.

Why would you want to deaden the ride? It's one of the best things about a steel ht isn't it?

Not deaden its different to say a Sanderson's rear. Thats more cushioned compared. The Soul felt 'jittery'?
