Need to get this thing flogged. Old Falcon Black Diamond ladies road/ touring thing. I'm thinking 70s-ish but that's a total guess. It looks pretty nice to me, as these things go - hardly used at all and very little rust etc, nice Shimano 10 speed stuff, alloy cranks blah blah. I was thinking £80 or something, but a bit of searching suggests people are asking quite a lot for ostensibly ropey old road bikes?

What does the collective reckon it might be worth?

Cheeerrrssss.

EBay it.

Its not 531 or anything decent so no to £80 is my guess

I've bought a few similar bikes recently, paid between £20 and £60. I'd say in that condition ask £50.

advertise as "Fixie/singlespeedable frame, ladies model to allow rider to get on wearing sister's jeans. Sold with free extra gears, gumwall tyres and TAN bartape"

£250 I bet

That does indeed seem to be the precedent. Some really daft money being asked for some right old tat...
