@ saladoger.....I saw that but can't believe one has to wait until June for a Review.

When are they supposed to be going on sale?

First drop of them have been and gone mostly at the moment, had deposits paid on them before people even knew what they looked like...

Must say, that seat tube brace and the way it meets the TT is incredibly ugly. I know they do similar arrangements on other bikes, but they generally shape it much better, looks awful here.

Reviews will be fairly pointless until some independents get hold of one 🙂

It has the front triangle from the 29'er, a new rear triangle and a spacer on top of the fork. Sounds like a rush job to me.

My guess is it won't be as good as either of the current bikes.

I'd hold off and wait until there is some solid feedback.

That is awful. Mind you all the new stumpys seem to be, I'd have been well up for buying a 29er stumpy except I'd have to blind myself first.

Is it really just the 29er front triangle? That's... mmm.

TBH I thought the pic was a joke and had been dropped in squashed, but it does seem to tick all the boxes, proprietary shock mount, 142+ Roval Wheels & Press fit BB. Perfect!

It's a POS but who can blame them? They didn't even want to make 650b and why should they when the 29" SJ Evo is as good as it is.

The guys down at specialized in Kingston were telling me they were getting one of these and that I should pop down and see it. Don't think I'll bother now I've seen that pic above. Fugly.

The bike in the pic above is a size XL

The seatube brace area always looks ungainly and odd in that size. The
Medium is a lot more compact, and looks similar to all the other stumpy frames of this year.

I guess the guys at DIRT wanted an XL to test, so that they can fit a really short stem
