crap day for repairs, did not even replace the cable just pulled it out a bit to shorten outers, put it back it pulled tight jobs a good un or not as it seems, can see anysigns of cable inside the sti unit but i need to get it out any tips appreciated

yep tried pulling a releasing cable, wiggling cable etc

does cable move at all? can you see nipple etc? pics?
i have the up an down shifts working on the lever and the idicator windo is moving, the cable will wiggle a tiny amount when pushed back ino the sti from rhs of the shifter, it is the lh shifter, no sign of the cable or nipple when looking into the hole from teh outside of the shifter
I've seen them get jammed in older stis, may be the same here, you have to tease the cable/nipple out with something sharp IIRC.
I don't get how you can't see the nipple or cable tho.
