Hi folks, strange place to ask i know but do any of you own a Sony cybershot with the hd sweep panorama feature and if so is it any good?
Im needing a new compact for biking this year, the choice s driving me nuts.
have an NEX 5n with sweep.. works will as long as you're not capturing a moving subject.
My Sony cyber shot has it. Works really well. When I get home I'll post up some examples
Yeah, it works well...it was one of the reasons I went for a Sony when buying a waterproof camera.
You just pic the direction you want and you're good to go. It takes a couple of goes to find out what speed you need to do it at.
If your subject isn't quite as wide as full-panoramic you end up with a section of black at the end of the pic, that can soon be removed once on your computer though.

I've never managed to get it to work on my Sony Ericsson
works a treat on my compact, got some nice pics from the Alps somewhere

All i need to do now is decide on the model..
