After trying to adapt a couple of 29er hard tails and enjoying the limited results I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on either a Sherpa or a transmitter
What are the communities thoughts?
I'm attempting a couple of bike packing trips this year as well as using the bike for general trail riding
After a lot of long travel full sussers in both carbon and ally I always seem to revert to 120 mm ally 29er hard tails which seem to satisfy me and my riding capabilities the most
I have an sc highball at the mo which is the best bike I've ever ridden with 120 mm up front and it made my riding come alive however the the biggest 650b tyre I can get in the back is a 2.4 wtb trail boss with a trailblazer up front on alpkits rumpus wheelset and at the moment I love the difference it makes
Any suggestions or thoughts that I may not have considered?

I haven't ridden one, but was looking at the new Stanton frames at Fort William yesterday, and they look very nice. I'd be very tempted.
