How does it feel? It seems odd that it is designed/compatible with only 1 wheelsize, especially as 650b+ is a bit of a niche setup.
I am looking for bike I can flip about, I have both 650b+ and 29er, but would want it to feel good on 29ers for the longer rides
Is this a thing still?

B+, 29ers or double posting?
I was wondering the same thing (about the wheel size). Surely if it'll take B+ of any decent size, it'll take 29. B+ is marmite but it does seem like it's not really that popular, so seems odd.
Although Sonder have designed the 29er Signal St so that it won't work with B+, so maybe that's their philosophy.
I’m sure I read that you can’t fit a 29 wheel in. Chainstay is pretty short 425-430 so you’d not get a decent volume 29 tyre in even if it’s ok bb height and tyre width wise
Thank docrobster.
I will give them a call, I am looking for versatility and An all rounder, not sure the Transmitter is what I need. I would have a frontier if it had a bit more travel/didn't look awkward in the bigger sizes!
Can’t take a sensible size 29 wheel in the rear. Obviously mullet is an option but that’s not what you’re looking for OP
Yeah the chainstays are too short for a 29er wheel.
Instead of full b+ I’m liking 2.6” tyres in a similar geometry Marino hardtail I’ve got. Not silly big heavy tyres but a bit more cush than 2.3” ones. Takes a bit more sting out of trails.
Yep, it's the wrong bike thanks all, did genuinely help
I dunno, looking at their geometry charts the signal has the same length chainstays just with a little bend in the seartube to cheat a bit of clearance and half an inch more BB drop, the frontier claims to be for both 29 and B+ and does have a whopping 20mm extra chainstay, only 2mm less BB drop than the transmitter, unfortunately the frontier has an unfashionably upright head angle and is clearly aimed at leas rowdy riding than the others...
I reckon you might sneak a 29x2.3" tyre in the back of a transmitter with a fag paper between the tread and the seat tube, but you should probably be looking at a Signal, or at least that's sonder's intent...
