Does anyone know which hubs are rebranded as Sonder? And if so, where's a good source of spares, axles and end caps in particular. Please don't say "Sonder"
Cheers.
Front or rear? If front I might be able to help
Rear I'm afraid. Nova drive side end cap for microspline freehub. It uses a left hand thread
I think the hubs are WTB Speedhub/Proterra. Give that a Google.
I take it you’ve asked Sonder?
I tried to ask Sonder when I was looking to convert my LoveMud hubs (or whatever they're called) to 12 Shimano but they were surprisingly unhelpful, just saying they couldn't tell me what make they were and the parts probably wouldn't be available anyway.
I was very surprised as they've always been really helpful before.
Had a look at the WTB. It was a promising lead but not quite right.
The disc side is a push in cap with a steel axle. Under the cap are two holes to stick a Tommy bar through.
The drive side cap is a left hand thread screw on with 17mm flats.
The freehub body is a 6 pawl arrangement.
"The drive side cap is a left hand thread screw on with 17mm flats."
Sorry, still can't figure out where the quote thing has gone. Anyway, that all sounds very Novatec to me. I had an old Superstar Switch hub way back. I snapped the axle in it years later and even though Superstar didn't do them any more, they told me exactly what Novatec model it was to get a replacement axle.
If Sonder aren't being helpful, maybe ask Novatec?
