Looking to replace my mk1 Cotic Roadrat for commuting/trail and gravel/general knocking about with the kids bike. Will be a new frame and transferring existing parts over with a smattering of a few new and upgraded parts. Looking at all the usual contenders but the Camino ticks all the boxes on paper but seems outstanding value compared to the others I'm looking at. Thought it's currently out of stock so hoping there isn't a price hike coming.
What's the catch?
None in my opinion very versatile have a mk1 and mk2 added thru axle only change i would have liked
Somewhere on here there is a lengthy picture thread of builds
Thanks. Sounds promising. Already got the build planned but will look up the thread for inspiration!
catch is getting one in stock.
I was looking for alu version for a while, ended up getting a Ti one just because it was in stock. My man maths justified it.
get on the FB group there are some that pop up for sale

If you have the money, the Cotic Escapade looks the shizzle as a do it all bike.
I hope not, I have mine on order - been waiting since March. Should get it next week, fingers crossed.
I'm coming from a Croix de Fer (2015) so the main thing was I also needed new wheels to accommodate the through-axles - not a big deal since the wheels on the CdF are pretty terrible. I also need brake adaptors and headset but otherwise I'm hoping it'll all just swap across.

Definitely another contender and right up there as I am a Cotic fanboy, but they're also out of stock and double the price for a frame assuming Sonder prices don't jump up when they come back in stock. Also would prefer a thru-axel on the rear for wheel compatibility with my road bike. I think an updated Escapade is coming which, if true, hopefully will include the 142 thru axel back end.
