Long story short, I stripped my rear axle. Luckily I managed to get it off with a bit of lubricant, hammer and a torx head. Ordered a good torque wrench right after, but now I'm without a rear axle and I don't know the right (thread) dimensions. It's a 148mm boost frame.
I measured the axle and it is 180mm from the base of the head to the end of the threads, with 12mm diameter and 20mm thread length. I assume I still need to know the exact thread pitch but I have no tools to measure it.
I live in a remote place in northern Finland and I have no access to a LBS so I have to order online. Is there anyone out there who would know the thread pitch of a stock rear axle?
Does it not say on the axle you took out? I did the same on a previous frame and luckily it was all printed on the axle.
Unfortunately the replacement I ordered from wiggle was described wrong in their website and had a different thread pitch when it arrived. Managed to buy a brand x I think in the end that was correct.
Could you order 2 (or more) online with same dimensions but differing thread pitches, keep the one that fits and return the others for refunds?
Edit: forgot about this-

There is nothing printed on the axle, sadly. I checked
https://robertaxleproject.com/but the only Sonder frame the database has is Transmitter. I could order a couple of axles but returning items usually costs and is a hassle.
Print off the axle measurer on their website? If you click not listed on the axle finder it takes you to the page…
Email AlpKit?
Actually yes that is the obvious answer!
Didn't know about the printable measurer, looks nice! I don't have a printer but I'll try to ask everyone I know if they have one.
edit: should have added that I emailed Alpkit a week ago but haven't received an answer.
I have a Titus Mutsu which is the On One copy and that uses a 1.75mm pitch.
I've recently ordered a replacement from Wiggle as I realised my multi-tool doesn't have a Torx bolt head around that's the correct size:
Here’s what alpkit told me when I asked them for my Broken Road (I think v2).
180mm total length with 20mm of thread. 1.75p thread
Interestingly I did email Robert axle to give them the data and they responded to thank me so I’m surprised it’s not on their database
