Yes. That's from me.
It's through Alpkit, under their bike brand Sonder, so whilst clearly I do have all the info I don't really want to release it without their say so. So let me check.
OK, thanks
First off - looking good
While you're on can I ask what makes a back-packing bike?
I thought it was a regular bike which may have a couple of fork fixings for panniers
An example being a Jones - all round bike which can decked out with frame bags
I sat down to draw this as a long distance bike for luggage to be fitted to. So it has a few odd things.
27.2mm post for springy comfort. Far from the shortest chainstays possible. Low fork length (though not td1 short) for maximum main triangle volume.
Production model has adjustable dropouts and non boost spacing.
Unpainted Ti frame is super durable.
Cables continous and external.
Clearly you can indeed bike pack on anything. I wouldn't want to make anyone feel they can't do that. Indeed a case in point is the Sonder Transmitter hard tail which has been seen fitted with lots of frame bags too.
Tandem is first in a development project. Next one is full titanium. We can offer frames from £2500.
