Thinking of doing the downhill in Glencoe this year, theres only going to be 2 of us where is a cheap place to stop? Probably only a long weekend

Camping pods at ski centre or camp at red squirrel.

Dead Squirrel if you're desperate. Owner known to drive at cyclists.

Glencoe Independent Hostel have several options. Owners are great and keen bikers.

If you go a wee bit further away there's tons of options- if I'm up there I tend to stay at the onich hotel, I just like its style (I've got a thing for slightly down at heel hotels that can't quite afford to refit). Kinlochleven's often a good shout too in the off season. And of course both are halfway to nevis range. None of these are exactly convenient, but it's a good drive from glencoe mountain...
