been out today on my leccy bike. 1st proper mtb ride for almost 2 years.
tracks were cool, weather was ok, views were stunning.........but more than all..the crack was fantastic.
forget about the bikes your riding..forget about the travel, or about 'what tyres for'.... but to just ride for the crack and the fun and the friendship of mates you aint seen for a while.

bikes are awesome for sure
biking mates are far far better............. 8)

a 20 stone bloke on a 50lbs bike can be excused when asking about tyres......the rest of you need to give ur heads a shake..... 😆

..the rest of you need to give ur heads a shake.....

Tried that last night ton. The wife told me to stop it, it was putting her off reading 50 shades of grey.....

Glad you had fun - feels great to be back on a bike after a long break doesn't it. I wanted to come but a 14 hour day on my feet at work yesterday left me way too knackered.

Even better Ton is that I sweated buckets into that 5th Element you sold me for my 7th consecutive Liverpool-Chester-Liverpool.

Trying to keep up with JohnClimber is futile & hurts lots.

Glad to hear you had a great time though.

That's ying and yang that is. My weekend has been a ferkin 'mare. No riding and a constant tirade of ear bashing off the missus. I feel sh!te. I'm glad you had a good one 🙂

It is the mates that make the ride I often find. Alone, you can ride a great piece of trail and have a great time. With a buch of good mates you can ride a really shoddy bit of track and have an Uber-Fantastic time that you will remember for years.

Life is great at times innit?

Fair point Ambrose. I ride XC with a bunch of local guys on trails I´d never look at when out on my own but I always come back as happy/happier than on solo rides.

Ton, congrats and how does the bike last fully charged + going uphill offroad etc.
Pics and a review would make great reading.

Absolutely bloody brilliant.

So glad to read the conclusion to the old "how much is biking worth" (or similar title) is this.

Allez Ton!
