Slowly assembling a nice pile of parts for my new frame... if it ever arrives! 😕 Almost everything sourced off the classifieds, except for the fork which is new...

grips, saddle, pedals are all at home (ODI's, Lazer V SLT, Canfield crampons). Still to buy a headset (will be a Cane Creek angleset) and rims (Stans Flows)...

Are those the new Easton Carbon Haven's? I've been looking for a set of those, can I ask where you got them from?

I was away... fled the UK to avoid the ignominy of my nations shaming 🙁

Your lino's in a dreadful state.

Work lino thankfully, it is indeed hideous! 🙂

Came off a 2011 Rocky Mountain Slayer 70, can't seem to find them available through UK retail channels yet? Nice bars, bloody wide at 710mm and light as a light thing (170gms I think?)

Take your pick... 🙂
How much longer do you have to wait- and have you gone for 160 or 140?

Current ETA is for mid/late February, seems there's a shortage of Vitamin P, if I switched to black or white I could have it pretty much straight away... have gone for the HD140, though will probably run the forks at 160mm to save fiddling with the internals, will see how that feels...

I've seen the Vit p in the flesh and thought it looked gopping (IMO). The white on the other hand is lush.

No, they don't seem to be available aftermarket yet, so my wait for wide bars continues. Sigh...

Post a pic up of the bike when it's done, I bet it'll be brill.

They're the carbon ones, came OEM off a 2011 Rocky Mountain Slayer 70 (bought 'em off the classifieds), can't seem to find them available through UK retail channels yet? Nice bars, bloody wide at 710mm and light as a light thing (170gms I think?) 🙂
