They booked build appointments so customers could build their own bike or watch the mechanic do it. Can't find the link/thread though. Anyone know where it is?
Cheers.

You're meaning building the frame though, aren't you?
I think the OP is meaning building up a bike from a frame and parts you've bought?
Oh gotcha. It's like that with Sideways Tim, in my experience.
I never had issue letting people in the workshop when I was a mechanic. Just looking forthis video though. This shop was doing this as a formal norm rather than just shop regulars wondering in. Thought it was 172 Avenue bike or something like that but a search here, google and YouTube revealed nothing.
There was a video on Vimeo. Think the shop was in Brooklyn & it was more fixie/urban type stuff. They did evening classes & that type of thing.
I'm sure the shop name was the street number/ref or something like that so reckon its the same place. Looked more like an art gallery / club than a bike shop.
I think I found it while looking for cargo bikes / xtracycle stuff.
Edit...think it was this place 718 Cyclery
Drac, Takisawa2, thank you both. That's the one.
I could remember but not the post title, Taki's link helped.
