Anyone had a soma juice 29er?
I want to build up an ultralight xc racer but would love to base it on a steel frame (I know that makes no sense)
I was tempted to buy an orbea alma but talking myself out if it and back into steel.

How do the somas compare to Solaris or Sherpas?

Any other options?

I wanted a p29er while ago but gave up looking as I couldn’t find one used anywhere

I’d love one!

I think I will also have the same problem finding a soma

My friend has a soma. 1/8 straight steerer and heavy. He loves it but I just don't get it. It wasn't cheap either.

There's a brand new small P29 on eBay in Italy.

Damascus...Just well built, nice lines, skinny tubes... it’s worth a bit of a weight penalty

I was after something like this a few months back (light steel 29er XC frame), but no luck.

It looked to me like the Sherpa or Solaris (pre-longshot) would have been pretty good options, as I think they're both fairly light.

I bought Vondally's P29er on here years ago, but was stupid enough to sell it shortly after.

Shand Bahookie? Think they are light for steel.
