Any experience-based recommendations for a product to rebuild sole tread on a set of boots that I'd like to get more life out of? Managed to lose a chunk of tread yesterday after a worn cleat shifted position while trying to unclip, cue frantic twisting of foot. I've lost the original lug that dropped off; there are stubs sticking out of the sole that should provide an anchor for something - Aquasure?

Currently thinking I might build up three Sugru blocks on the stubs you can see, then make a gaffer tape 'dam' round them and pour in Aquasure/seal to make a solid block.

I've used ShoeGoo to glue on semi-attached tread blocks with reasonable success, but moulding your own sole addition seems like quite a big ask. I've also found that once soles start disintegrating, it's generally the start of the endgame anyway and it's a bit of a losing battle. I'm guessing you've lost the missing tread block?
