Bandit 29, that idea was floating around, significantly cheaper than yeti/turner alternative.

There's a banshee prime 29 with a cane creek air on pinkbike for £900 looks nice.

What was "wrong" with the Gyro? That might help to narrow things down a bit.

Just back from a ride on my PYGA 29-10. I've not ridden any other 29er FS other than a fee car park rides so I've no idea how it compares to what else you are looking at. Run mine with 130mm forks although I'm sure it'd be fine with 120mm. It's a brilliant trail bike. Drop me a line if you want to know more.

Here it is in Spain where it was fab. Now has some better forks. Which makes it even more fab.
