Just looking for a bit of advice I guess,

Advertised a bike on here a month or so ago and last week a few people got in touch about it. After a few emails back and forth with one guy we agreed a price and sorted delivery.

Money sent no problem, bike packed and couriered, no problem, tracking service indicates delivery but I can't get in touch to make sure he has received the bike and is happy. He put a couple of comments on the post which have since disappeared.

Just a bit confused and wanted to make sure he is happy, can't remember the username either!

Anyone else had anything like this on here?

Cheers

What valleydaddy said. If you have the money and no complaints, job done.

They would have e-mailed you or started a thread by now calling you a thief if there was a problem
Welcome to the internet 😀

Sometimes you hear, sometimes you don't. If you don't + you've got the cash + the signed delivery slip = then no worries.

He received the bike. It was exactly what he needed for his round-the-world trip he'd been promising himself ever since he could remember. Now that his wife and children had left him, and his job had been shipped out to India, nothing more stood in his way.

He packed up all his remaining belongings into two small pannier bags, bought a one-way ticket to Calais, cancelled the milk and all his standing orders and set off, into the darkness, on the adventure of a lifetime. Just him and his bike for the next two years.

It was only as he was cycling over the Rhine that he suddenly remembered that he'd forgotten to thank the person who had made all this possible! What must he be thinking? Oh well, they would understand he told himself. And precious little he could do about it now.
