Have a chap coming later to pick up a bike that ive sold, do i give him a receipt ?? ,.... so there`s no comebacks etc ?
how to word said receipt ?

I always ask for one, it's a proof of purchase after all...
I'd expect your name and address, something saying sold to "whom-ever" ("sold as seen" if you want) dated & signed.
Hardly difficult.

Bike make and model, colour
frame number
complete or parts
date, price
your name
their name
sold as seen etc
Important as a buyer, can't see any disadvantages for the seller.
Obviously, you write out two receipts, one for you, one for them. Both sign both copies.
