Ok, call me a bit soft, but when the weathers not so warm I wear full length trouser/pants when I'm riding, but the one thing I hate is the feel of the horrible cold nylon type fabric that seems to be on all my trousers. So is there anything out there suitable for riding that feels soft on the inside, and not like you've just put on a carrier bag?
My decathlon riding trousers are brushed fleece inside and well nice
fox fire defend. think im on year 4 of mine, massively warm, decent dwr.. durable... expensive
At the other end of the price range, Karrimor Panther winter trousers from Go Outdoors/SportsDirect. Back in the day of course the answer was a pair of Ron Hill Trackster Trek, and some days it still is for me.
Edit: I went to see if they still make the heavyweight Trek versions of Ron Hills, looks like the warm version is now called Core.

Still too warm to wear above 5C.
I've sewn the crotch up once but still pretty water resistant
Troy lee skyline are nice and soft/comfy but not made for wet conditions.
Endura mt500 freezing point have a soft warm inner and work for me. Not cheap however.
