I've got an old 661 pressure suit but am just checking out some of the body armour now available (with an eye on my trip to Whistler Bike Park in 6 weeks).

I like the idea of the soft body armour - I already have knee pads of this type and they are way comfier.

I've been looking at the Forcefield Pro Shirt - no annoying velcro and it's allegedly very breathable - but I've heard that before! Anyone tried it? Wondering what it's like comfort wise when I'm sweating away?

This is for DH - not pedalling around in.

There's been too much spending on big bikes BearBack!! (not by me).

I'm gonna bring the big bike but am planning on hiring something for a couple of days pedalling...

I've been using Forcefield stuff for 2-3 years - always been really comfortable and I've never had a problem overheating in it.
