I'm looking for a thin sock or liner to wear with a waterproof sock. Anyone any recommendations?

There are loads about specifically as walking sock liners. Very thin and normally good at letting your foot breath a little.

I have some Brasher ones that I wear whenever I'm out walking and they have been excellent at stopping blisters.

You can get silk socks on eBay for about a tenner for two pairs. I use them as liners when it's v.cold, work a treat.

I reckon those cheapo Merino socks off eBay would be OK for a liner. I received some today and they are very thin, not sure of the wool content either tbh but £7 for 6 pairs!
Edit; Ulvang Merino socks (can't do link from my phone)

On-One Thinny Coolmax are not bad, and cheap enough, £3 for 3 pairs.

Cheers all, looked for the Bridgedales but were fairly hard to find, settled on the Ulvangs, can't complain at that price.

I'm using Ulvangs for general riding. I think they may be a bit thick as a liner sock.
Incredible price though as stated.
