Still a bit of life in the bearings at the mo, but it won't be long before replacement time, they are 18 months old so not too bad for HTII I suppose 😛
So once I pop the BB cups out - what's the current thinking?
1. Lazy option, just buy some new Shimano cups and pop them in?
2. Buy some new bearings and go to work on the BB cups? (I can get my hands on the tool - fnar fnar)
3. Send the cups to Sideways and have the Phil Wood bearings popped in?
4. Get a Hope BB (Steel or Ceramic?)?
5. Go all out and get a King BB?
Thanks for your input
mtb-direct do shimano one s for £20, why pay more!
I went through a similar thought process a couple of months ago and eventually I got some Endura(?) bearings from BETD LINKY
put in and they've been fine up to now
