I need to sell my trusty old steed but have no idea what it's worth! I know it's going to be a lot less than I think so am starting to wonder if it's worth more to me to keep it than get rid?

So to the bike... muddy pic attached...

Specialised Enduro 2002
Fox RC23 RL (3rd one since new and still Ok)
Pace XC41 Carbon Forks
XT chainset/changers (new middle ring)
Hope Mono & Minis (new pads still in packaging to go in)
Hope Hubs/Mavic rims
Conti Race King and Race Queen Tyres - not mid X as shown in pic
Easton E70 stem/seatpost and Monkey Lite bars
WTB saddle

Think that's it. It all works the forks could probably use a service and the brakes are good but would be better once the new pads are in and it wouldn't be sold with pedals.

Is this on the right forum... should it be in for sale?

Opinions appreciated.

That was a bit quick off the mark...

Uhm, pretty much what I thought. Damn those pesky new wheel sizes and all they've done to the MTB world!

Nowt to do with wheel size, its a 12 year old bike pretty much. I'd say £150-180.

Forget that, I was buying complete 07 spec bikes back in 2010 for £1k.

Great frame but I'd be worried about the chain stays - there are none left at specialized UK, forks are QR, looks like the very old silver hope brakes. Nothing special in the post or bars.

Sorry if harsh...

It'd be worth more in bits, and if they were clean bits a bit more.
And it's age not new wheel sizes that have bottomed the price... 😉

Keep it for nostalgia or a backup bike... or just ride it?

Looks like it's staying in the garage. Only a few years and it will fit my lad... not that he'll want to be seen on 'Dads retro bike' though!

Thanks for helping me make up my mind.
