Anyone planning an epic that the masses might attend? Ooow, what about a posthumous Bar-y-Q or even alcohol 😛
We're off to the Howgills for a big 'un 8)
Indeed we are. We do a "longest day" evening epic every year. Last couple of years we've been over High Cup Nick and Cross Fell, time before was up to the top of Skiddaw
Oow....can I come along, never ridden in the either area but really fancy an all day beasting. I need to 'sully' my bike in the law of all-day filth, as opposed to it languishing in my shed in all it's gleeming panache...laughing at the fat student.
Sorry, i don't get out much. How far is the howgills ride, from ...to please?
Would give me something to train for 😀

Planning on starting from the northern end at 6pm-ish. If all goes well (which it rarely does) we'll be done by dark.
But our recent midsummer rides have tended to finish at 1am or later...
