Hello.

I'm thinking of entering a gravity enduro, but wanted to do a bit of training for it.

How long is your average UK timed section, or more pertinently, how long is an average rider like me going to have to be flat out, blowing out of my arse before I get a rest?

3 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes?

Ta very much.

3-5 minutes

I you are used to shorter descents then it's worth doing the training.

Check out stage times on roots and rain for your enduro of choice

But 3-5 mins is standard

5-9 minutes for the last one I did, though I wasn't trying hard enough as the winner was more like 4-6 minutes.

Plus transitions.
Transition 15mins, rest 10mins, GO GO GO!! 5mins and transition again...
Repeat 5 times, if riding blind, 10 if practising.
I was utterly utterly destroyed after my 1st enduro.

Thanks all.

Thanks for pointing me in the direction of Roots and Rain too, that's a really useful website. There are some events on there I wasn't aware of.
