Weather is gonna be shit and I'm not massively fit
I'm considering just riding it blind on the Sunday rather than doing a practise lap. I'm not ever gonna be competing for prizes or positions but is it really essential to practise it? Will there be anything stupidly dangerous that you just won't see marshalled / taped off?
Don't want to do a 30mile ride two days in a row...wil I die?
I'm just planning on getting there early tomorrow and taking it really easy, I don't plan on going for it on the stages until Sun, but its good to have an idea of whats coming up.
Has anyone seen the route yet?
Me an my son will be doing it blind on Sunday. Last year we rode out on Sat to reccy it with a few mates but there was no real benefit. If anything it took it out of my legs for Sunday, at 46 I am just taking part not competing. Didn't see anything that couldn't be ridden blind, and couldn't remember the sections anyway
