Would love to but the snow is too deep, tried and failed yesterday.

Yip! A nice easy ride on my 'cross bike around the less muddy bits of my part of Kent, ready for Foots Cray 'cross on Sunday.
This will be my 9th consecutive ride on my cross bike, due to the road conditions, and I'm lovin' it!

Given the local depth of snow a walk in the order of the day tomorrow. We will enjoy that more.

Christmas lunch will be a picnic in the snow. I'll take pictures

I'll probably be out on the road bike for a while (don't fancy driving anywhere to have a play on the mountain bike), I need to work on fitness anyway, so a great opportunity!

Yep, rigid SS with very thin nobblys suddenly seems ideal for the country lanes round my way.

Was hoping to ride the 14 road miles to my parents for lunch but will probably abandon due to the weather.

Gutted as I'm pretty sure Santa's bringing me a pair of Assos shorts

Oh yes - I'll be pushing up our road as it's currently sheet compacted snow (no sign of the forecasted thaw yet...) but fog forecast for 6am, so I'll be out for an hour, back for brekkie and presents. Woo, and indeed hoo! It was ace last year - only saw a couple of dog walkers - felt like I had the planet to myself.

Seriously tempted to do an hour, on the ss, to get rid of angst. Might get me chilled for the afternoon's proceedings.
